Fact Friday!

Good morning, we hope you are enjoying your Easter Friday so far. There's no rest for the wicked here at British Bird Food and we are as dedicated as ever to bringing you your five garden bird facts for this Friday. So here we go... Did you know... Nuthatch numbers are seen to fluctuate over the Winter quite widely, probably due to the lack of seed available for them. Feed the birds! Did you know... Some species of Owl can often adopt the old nest of a Magpie. Did you know... The Robin was declared as Britain's National Bird on December 15th 1960. Did you know... Even though they may look similar, Swallows and Swifts are not related at all. Did you know... Kestrels have been spotted pinching the prey of both Sparrowhawks and Owls. We hope you have enjoyed our Easter facts, please have a read of our other blogs posted on a Monday and a Wednesday. Have a lovely Easter weekend.
