Keep feeding the fledgelings
Keep feeding the fledgelings
Even in August,
feeding the birds
is vitally important to their health and survival. wild garden birds are still breeding and their young offspring are still being shown how and where to get the best bird food they can.
Just this morning I was sitting watching our garden birds on the feeders, a young Wren, a tiny little birds was enjoying the peanuts in shells, whilst a young Bullfinch came in to feed on the black sunflower seed, a sparrow was enjoying the high energy no mess mix and a starling was ravenous on the
suet balls
. So it is still very important to the young birds to rely on us humans for support in their eating provision. Especially in a hot summer the birds will keep breeding right through to September and so we must provide clean fresh water for them to bathe and drink from, as well as good quality wild bird food. You can reliably find all of your bird feeding requirements at
British Bird Food.
