Schwegler bat boxes

Schwegler are the world leaders in nest boxes for birds as well as bats. Here at British Bird Food we have a large range of both bird and bat nesting boxes made by Schwegler. The bat box range consists of the three smaller boxes for single and double chambers (1FD, 2F, 2FN) and then we also stock the colony box 1FF. The Schwegler range is all made from the woodcrete and natural wood, that gives tremendous durability and allows Schwegler to offer a 25 year guarantee. The construction gives a texture that appeals to the bats and allows them to crawl inside and feel safe, also the construction is designed to give the bats a good level of insulation, keeping them cool in the summer and warm during their hibernation during the winter months. Bat boxes should face South East or South West to give the best level of temperature consistency. The Schwegler range of bat boxes all have access doors, but these can only be opened by licensed people and it is worth mentioning that all bats are protected by law, so having a bat box is a responsibility that you take on to protect the bats in your garden.
