Your own Bees in your garden

The
Beepole Lodge is a new product, designed for the gardener who would like to see their yields and plants benefit from increased pollination. It is a serious business and the Beepole Lodge comes with it's own colony of Bumble Bees and their Queen.
The Beepole Lodge needs to be located in a quiet part of the garden and even though there is a clear plastic inspection hatch, the bees should not be frightened by children or pets and so it should be isolated from them.
Bumble Bees (Bombus terrestris audax) are in decline and the native British colonies need every help they can get. So to place a hive in your garden is a great step towards their conservation. The colony of bees arrives by special courier and is placed directly in the hive. The worker bees then come out and investigate their surroundings and soon start work collection pollen and nectar and making a nest in their new home.
Replacement bees are available between April and August.
