Squirrel Food too!

Posted by David Baxter 29/09/2016 0 Comment(s)

Squirrel food can be a blessing in disguise.

Feeding Squirrels isn't the most obvious way to stop them stealing your best wild bird food but for most gardens it is a good way of distracting the Squirrel from your bird food and giving them a better option, so the Squirrels get a good, nutritious food and the wild birds get more of what you want to give.

Feeding Squirrels as far away from your wild bird food keeps them in that part of the garden, use a Squirrel Feeder to keep their food dry and they will help themselves to the food inside. Nature says that wild creatures always take the easiest option, so once the Squirrels have found the feeder with the Squirrel food inside they will simply focus on that one first.

Our Squirrel food is hand mixed on the day of despatch, so it is always fresh and sweet, it comes in our returnable packaging, so you can empty the 5Kg bags and put them inside one bag and return them to us free of charge for us to re-use. If you are only sending a few bags back then fold the outer bag in half and seal with tape, this means it will be a large letter as opposed to a small parcel and save money too.
