Easy clean wild bird feeders

Posted by David Baxter 21/04/2016 0 Comment(s)

Onyx "click to clean" bird feeders from Jacobi Jayne.

Available in three sizes and in both Niger and seed format the Onyx range of wild bird feeders is one of our favourites.

Cleaning bird seed feeders can be a nuisance, with many people resorting to soaking them over night to get them clean enough do to inaccessible areas inside the bird feeder. The Onyx range of bird feeders has overcome that problem with an ingenious base unit that has a large handle that simply turns a quarter of a turn and the base comes away from the tube, the feed apertures are set so that they do not get in the way of a brush and the top simply lifts off, so the whole of the tube is easily cleaned within seconds.

The Onyx wild bird feeders are covered with a lifetime guarantee, this means as long as you have the feeder, if anything breaks or a Squirrel damages it beyond repair, the parts will be replaced free of charge and sent to your address. All the parts on the Onyx feeders are easily replaced the only tool require is a small allen key. This guarantee is one of the best we have come across and has been tried and tested with our customers over the years - from gale force wind damage to "I dropped it on the concrete" - the parts have always been sent out straight away.

The Onyx seed feeders have their own seed tray, should you require it, specially designed to fit snugly around the base and with a hook on the fixing thread, with means you can hang something below the feeder ( a half coconut maybe) as well as give the birds a second chance at cleaning up the spilled seeds. Also the seed tray will act as a base for ground feeding birds and larger bird to get a perch onto.
