Wild bird food, stocking up time!
As we approach the colder months and see the natural food for birds getting short in our gardens and hedgerows, now is the time to think about your winter bird feeding requirements. There is still an enormous amount of berries in the hedgerows, but most of the seeds on the land have either germinated or rotted down now. Feeding wild birds is a personal preference, some like to feed all the year round and develop their garden wildlife, nurturing and cultivating relationships with certain birds and mammals. Other people like to feed only during the winter months or when it is cold and food short for the birds.
Whichever your preference now is the best time to stock up, just before the cold whether sets in and Christmas couriers fever starts to bite - blocking roads and depots with parcels from Amazon and e-bay!
At British Bird Food we will be delivering seeds and suets and nest boxes and wildlife goodies, right the way through to Christmas Eve, then we are going to take a break until January 5th, so it is worth bearing in mind that you might run out and to get an order in now. Our exclusive mixes are very popular now and the Winter mix
