Fresh water for all your garden visitors

Posted by British Bird Food 10/05/2014 0 Comment(s)
As we approach the warmer weather and the young birds, animals and insects start to emerge from their nests, it is time to make sure we provide plenty of bathing and fresh drinking water for them. All creatures require drinking water and when we encourage birds and other animals into our garden we take on the responsibility of providing this for them. There are lots of ways to provide water for your garden visitors, a pond, puddle, bird bath or drinker will all do the job, the most important thing is to make sure it is clean and fresh, this avoids disease and cross contamination. Ideally water should be changed twice a day and the drinking vessel rinsed out at the same frequency. Once a week, a thorough clean with a mild detergent or anti-bacterial agent, like Ark-Klense will ensure there is no disease risk.
