New year - new birds?

Posted by British Bird Food 02/01/2014 0 Comment(s)
Happy new year to you all, this is a great time to review your wild bird feeding tactics and decide if you would like to try something new. Even this early you might like to think about what sort of nest box you would put up in the nest month or so and where you will site it? also you could be getting on with emptying and cleaning any existing nest boxes ready for the new season, Blackbirds will start to pair up and seek out nest sites in the next 4 to 6 weeks. Winter is officially with us now, but our Winter mix can be fed any time of the year, it has sunflower hearts, mealworms and suet pellets all mixed in, so all you need is the feeder and you will keep all your garden birds happy. By changing your wild  bird food mix, you will see a different variety of birds and our Winter mix has many ingredients so does appeal to a wider variety of wild garden birds than many other wild bird food mixes. The trick is in making sure the ingredients are top quality and once you have tried our mixes for yourself you will see the results in your own garden.
