Fact Friday!

Posted by British Bird Food 03/05/2013 0 Comment(s)
That's another week done, where does the time go! At least we have an extra long weekend with the bank holiday so we hope the weather stays nice for everyone and you get out and about in the lovely sunshine! Let's have this weeks five facts: Did you know... The Female Brambling's summer plumage is brighter than the winter plumage. Did you know... Fieldfare like to eat fruit as part of their diet. (We sell fruit for birds, click here). Did you know... The nest of a Nuthatch is made from bark chips and dead leaves. Did you know... The Blackcap has a very similar song to the Garden Warbler. They can be easily confused. Did you know... The Marsh Tit is a red list species owing to it's rapid decline since the 1960's. We hope you enjoyed reading this weeks Fact Friday blog. Enjoy the garden birds this weekend! Follow us on Twitter @BritishBirdFood and 'like' us on Facebook.
