Baby Robins love Mealworms @britishbirdfood

Posted by British Bird Food 19/05/2012 0 Comment(s)
At this time of year, the wild birds in your garden are flat-out feeding their young ones. We have many fledgling birds coming to the feeders now. Blackbirds, Wrens, Blue Tits, Great Tits  and of course, Robins. We have two feeders for the Robin, on the office window we have an Observer Window Feeder and we use Robin and Tit food for this feeder. The birds fly down and sit on the edge or jump into the food bowl. The feeder is about 2 feet from our desk so we get to see the birds very close.       The other feeder is the Robin Dome, as its name implies, it has a bowl with a large bowl above to protect the food from the weather. We feed mealworms in this feeder and the Robins love them. Our mealworms are fantastic value and get even cheaper the more you buy.
