Mini Bug Box 2000Mini Bug Box 2000

Mini bug box 2000 is one of a collection of unique, real, functioning wildlife habitats designed specifically for children to learn about and attract beneficial insects in the garden for learning, study, or simply for plant pollination and natural pets control.

The mini bug box is a natural habitat for Ladybirds and other beneficial insects and is constructed from solid FSC timber of Birch, Larch or Oak logs or similar timber for excellent durability. The Mini bug box 2000 can be hung from trees, pergolas, hanging brackets close to water and scented plants. The box has two chambers to provide over wintering for Ladybirds (natural Aphid predators) and a home for solitary bees (non-aggressive garden pollinators) and a variety of insects during the summer. The top section is made of variable sized canes and the lower section is bored solid timber.

The mini bug box 2000 comes with a free 16 page project book.

The Mini bug box 2000 is designed for wild creatures so it may not get immediate occupation, ensure the supplied instructions for siting are carefully followed and encourage natural habitat for the target species. If the box has not been occupied after 6 months, try a different location in the garden.

Because many species are constantly looking for refuge and safe nesting sites, you may find that an uninvited guest or two have took up residence, this is nature and should be welcomed as part of your wildlife garden.
