We have developed this mix specifically to sit along side our Autumn mix, (also suitable for feeding throughout the winter).The Winter mix has extra ingredients for the small birds, without the fruit found in the Autumn mix. We have developed this mix specifically for the winter months, it has a very high nutritional value, giving your birds the chance to fill up. Winter mix will flow easily through a tube feeder or sit on a table or ground tray. It will appeal to all types of birds - a one stop shop!

Granulated peanuts, suet pellets, mealworms, sunflower hearts are a few of the tasty morsels in store for your birds with this mix and it will provide all the energy they need to see them all the way through to Spring, when you can give them a change by switching over to Spring Mix. Winter mix will not grow or leave a mess.

 

Suggested feeding times for our seasonal mixes.

 

Spring mix - March through June - Support during the laying and fledging season

Summer mix - July through November - maintenance for feeding and training young chicks to eat. (Available July 2010)

Autumn mix - October through January - Recovery from the breeding season, preparation for Winter.

Winter mix - December through April - Maintenance for the Winter months.
